Do any Cosonauts use the Session messenger? I like what I'm reading in their FAQ. It appears to be what I was hoping Signal would be: A secure messenger with no phone number or anything else tied to your IRL identity.
Just installed the app, and it looks well-designed. My ID is in my CoSo profile if anyone wants to try it.

Yes, but with nothing tied to your identity. It's just about as easy as Signal to get up and running. My experience as a new user starting from a phone:
1. Install app
2. Create a user name
3. Record your recovery passphrase. (Very similar to Keybase).
4. Session generates your ID. This is what you give to other people to connect to you.

^ If you need another reason to try Session over Signal, it seems they added a 'payments' feature a while back. While this might seem like a neat idea at first, it's pretty transparent that they did this to pump their own new MobileCoin.
