"Jesu, The Very Thought Of Thee" Composed by Gordon Slater
Arranged by Paul Halley
Chorus Angelicus and Gaudeamus Organist and Conductor, Paul Halley
...
But what to those who find? Ah! this
Nor tongue nor pen can show;
The love of Jesus, what it is
None but his loved ones know.
Jesu, our only joy be thou,
As thou our prize wilt be;
In thee be all our glory now,
And through eternity.
Words: Twelfth Century Latin, trans. Edward Caswell
Melody: Gordon Slater

That's true for many of these hymn tunes that originate in the 1700s / 1800s. Usually there are multiple sets of lyrics set to the same tunes, which you can find in the index if you search by tune name rather than title.
I hope you enjoy this arrangement, c which is the most creative I have heard.
@voltronic My church sings this, slightly different translation on a couple words.
