@voltronic for that i just enter into "reader mode" which bypasses many paywalls in chrome or i use nuzzle if opening a paywall url via twitter and "text" mode instead of "webview" in that app works

doesn't work all the time and you need to keep cache for they sites cleared also after every visit

I knew about reader mode, but these other two were new to me. Appending the . to the domain is a nice quick trick. Not sure how that one works, but it does work.

@voltronic the javascript thingy i have seen before by someone using Brave and it seems to only work in Brave browser < well for me it did when i tried it a while back in a few browsers

but yeah, the dot one was new to me also and kinda neat apparently it works by breaking CORS

i need to play around with that method

I wonder if one could use the NoScript extension in Firefox.

@voltronic that is what i tried it with in firefox and chrome on windows, and android, then tried it on my chromebook with NoScript

i got a few bypasses in firefox but more misses than hits chrome and chromebook all misses
