The password problem is getting worse. The average user has nearly 200 passwords to remember, which means that they’re frequently reused, changes have become a nightmare, and password managers are having a hard time keeping up. Unfortunately, it’s only going to get worse. The solution is to get rid of most passwords and use some other means of authentication. #cososec
I have a couple issues with that article:
1. Password managers are easy to use, so you have strong, generated passwords that are unique to each account.
2. Recommending biometrics for primary or second-factor authenticatio is not good advice, given the ease with which these methods have been compromised.
