To attend, people must sign Musk's petition supporting free speech and the right to bear arms and have already voted in Pennsylvania.

The problem is not the petition, but the requirement to vote to attend Musk's event. Federal law prohibits making or offering to make "an expenditure to any person, either to vote or withhold his vote, or to vote for or against any candidate."

I suspect the intent is to muddy the waters so much that the result is unclear and can be challenged.

the way they've stacked the courts, gerrymandered the state legislatures and installed election deniers as election managers makes it possible to win the election without the consent of the voters...
