I still have my mom's Moosewood cookbooks and The Vegetarian Epicure -- very much in that tradition and of that time.
One of my all-time favorite recipes is Moosewood's gingerbread. It's dark, rich, and spicy. (I forget which book it's in, but this is it.)
@tyghebright I have my OWN Moosewoods and suchlike. All of which are falling apart from use.
