Calendar Day 1

Day one
Aerolite Lyndsay. 10 Year Islay single malt
ABV: 46%
Color: pale straw
Viscosity: 2 (out of 10) Light
Nose: Peaty
Palate: Strong fiery, full mouthfeel, with a
Finish: of Barley sugars, that lingers a while

Notes: Really feisty mouthfeel, and it is hard to find anything but the peaty flavors. A bit of sugars can be found hidden in the tale

Kyro Distillery Company (Finland)
ABV: 47.2%
Color: Deep Gold
Viscosity: 4 (out of 10) Light
Nose: Floral, nectar
Palate: Caramels, sherry cask
Finish: earthy, nectar

Notes: the nose on this is amazing. Nice florals with a undertone of nectar.

Day Three
Laphroaig 10 year
ABV: 40%
Color: sherry
Viscosity: 3 (out of 10) Slight
Nose: Earthy, peat, salts
Palate: Peat, earth, honey
Finish: Warm earthy grass flavors

Notes: Epitome of islays, flavors are not overbearing as a typical Laphroaig. Has some good earthy complexity

I like the Laphroaig 10 more than the 25.
