"I’m a mother of six, and a Mormon. I have a good understanding of arguments surrounding abortion, religious and otherwise. I've been listening to men grandstand about women's reproductive rights, and I'm convinced men actually have zero interest in stopping abortion. Here's why…
If you want to stop abortion, you need to prevent unwanted pregnancies. And men are 100% responsible for unwanted pregnancies."

Read the thread.
@tyghebright, that's my bad!
No problem.
It's a bit of a rhetorical device she uses... but also an excellent point about how we could easily and dramatically reduce abortions if men didn't irresponsibly ejaculate.
@tyghebright Read that yesterday too. Good one.
@tyghebright
She makes some great arguments! /wry grin. That is a fun, thought provoking read. Thanks for the link!
I do think a culture which places less priority on men's pleasure and more emphasis on the potential consequences of their choices would lead to fewer unwanted pregnancies.
@tyghebright I made my 50-something year old husband read this. He sighed and said, "She is 99% right. No, she is 100% right."
@tyghebright, you make a valid point but I would argue that in a handful of these instances the woman shares in the responsibility.
