It's sad that Dianne Feinstein has passed away she was a trailblazer until the end. That being said, there is going to be a lot of talk about far-left Dems made at Schumer and other Dems for not replacing Feinstein, although if they knew their Civics, Feinstein had to stay in the judiciary committee seat because if she's gone and with a 50/50 Senate, the GOP will leave the seat empty and no judges confirmed. Now, it has happened, so no new judges in the next year and a half.

@tracytran The Democrats can't put a replacement on the Judiciary Committee?

@ImagineThat They can’t unless the GOP agrees to it since it’s a 50/50 Senate. From the looks of it, McConnell would allow a replacement since Feinstein died, not resign. I would like to see it, but with his health, I don’t think he wants a prolong fight, so he will give this to the Dems
