Why I care about the Virginia Elections is it matters not only for my state, but what would actually happen in next year’s Presidential elections. In summary in Fairfax County, the GOP failed to overtake the Dem Primary as two of the three progressives win and likely win in the general. The upset is Chap Petersen lost to Saddam Salim. That race might be enough to hold the State Senate for the Dems. We will see the turnout as Youngkin will spend a boatload to get his agenda past #VAelections
