Ran into Home Depot to grab a couple things for , and if I'd known that having flaming red hair and wearing PJ bottoms, a mask, and yard shoes would make people think you must be a crazy woman and GTFO of your way, I'd have started doing that YEARS ago.

@peeppeepcircus

I let my hair go grey for a year. That people would treat me differently was expected, but it was WAAAY worse than my expectations. I truly became invisible.

@Agatha @peeppeepcircus See, I love being invisible, so I've been celebrating the spiderweb of grey that's spreading at my temples. It's the only reason my hair is no longer kept peacock blue, to keep the crazies away.

@tippitiwichet @peeppeepcircus

I'm over 50, so I'm pretty invisible to the worst of it. I'm HAPPY about that.

I mean the, "Yeah we're in your way and can't step 5" to one side so you can pass" type invisible. So I'm keeping the "crazy woman coming" look. πŸ˜‚
