i have a fondness for those real 1960s superballs... my friend Sarah's father was a physics professor, which made it insanely easy & cheap for us to get our hands on 2 large paper grocery bags (remember those?) FULL of superballs...
which we proceeded to pour over the 2nd floor balcony at the entrance hall of the high school. because of where the office doors were located, we were long gone before any adults could get out to the lobby...

@tippitiwichet it was so funny. all the flailing that someone could have been hurt. it was during class, not at class changes. no one was going to get hurt.

i also used to boobytrap my locker with a bag of marbles, because they were doing random locker checks for drugs...

@redenigma You were a legend. Did they ever pick your locker?

@tippitiwichet i feel they were lucky i didn't take my intense boredom in school out in other ways...

@redenigma I kept myself entertained in quieter ways, like bringing a canvass and paints to math class. There was the one class I stirred up by drawing with my feet because I sat in the back corner and didn't think anyone would notice.
