There was a baby deer nestled in the grass outside the back of my building this morning.
Gotta say that was a pretty lovely way to start the day.

We have a mom whose just starting bringing her twins around. Took the dog out this morning, she was right on the other side of the fence. I said hello, and the little ones popped out from the brush, and they walked a little bit and mom kept munching on our weeds, but just hung out.
I read this and thought you were talking about humans. Munching on the weeds gave me pause. Guessing this was doe?

I actually made it half way through a work shift chewing on a licorice root before I realized that chewing on twigs is not really socially acceptable behavior, and not a single person had called me on it or even seemed to look at me sideways, so apparently my superpower is doing weird shit and having it accepted.
