@Agatha I simply do not care about my gender, and it shows. I don't shave, wear men's deodorant, my long hair is in a bun with a bandana most of the time, haven't worn make up in years, but still prefer "she". I'm nearly asexual, and am more attracted to emotional bond than appearance (demisexual), it's all mostly a choice with me. Therefore I choose "cishet" and claim it openly to show I know it's not a slur and hopefully influence acceptance. Joe realizes how I am and accepts me.
@Agatha Neither have I, but in my Twitter days I did see jerks choosing to take it as a slur so they had a reason to be angry at the people they were picking on. They didn't seem to be listening to anyone who told them it's just the actual scientific description.
Yeah that's just Elon and his ninnies finding an excuse to hate.
Yeah, my question was more curious about those who live as cis het, but are questioning their identity. I was curious to see how many were out there.
Quite a lot answered yes. More than I was expecting.
@tippitiwichet
I've not seen cishet used as a slur. Not saying it never is, but I've not run into that yet.
