Putting on my steel toed work boots to walk to the 24 hour dispensary, was bothered by the memory of an incident. So, what do you say when someone says your boots are good for kicking ass and a part of you knows that's totally why you are wearing them, because you totally have the liberal vibe in a red state nearly every time you go out? "Yes, I can defend myself but I totally believe in balance of ideals and working things out in a nonviolent manner" just doesn't seem quippy enough.
