@gregscloud1 I've been doing a Buddhist mindfulness meditation that embraces this. Breathe in as if breathing for the first time, with awareness of how the breath feels. Breathe out, smile. Next breath think of how beautiful the present moment is. This is simplified as, "Breathe. Smile. Present moment. Wonderful moment." Works best with the right hand over the heart, releases oxytocin, the love hormone.
@gregscloud1 Well, I learned that from a Buddhist, but also she recommended the book Living Buddha, Living Christ to me, and it seems to be a modified form of what was taught in that book, also it was similar to something I found in the mindfulness and PTSD book, so similar forms seem to really get around.
@tippitiwichet I will try and look up the book, it’s called “Living Buddha, Living Christ”? Thank you for sharing. I hope your week is going okay.
@gregscloud1 Yes, actually. A perfect combination of productive and relaxing. Finding balance. You?
@tippitiwichet it’s going okay thanks.
@tippitiwichet that is cool, I can imagine how relaxing it must be and to have trained teachers is awesome.
