Feedback requested. I am attempting to form a counter argument when speaking to someone who believes that the Old Testament should be American law. I will write this in my journal to review and internalize.

"If God’s law is appropriate to rule the nation with, that can happen naturally if you convert the nation first, and that would only be able to be done if people weren’t running away from the church, as it seems" 1/3

@tippitiwichet You don't need an argument. You can just tell them no. There's nobody who believes that who is going to listen to a rational argument.

@AskTheDevil Almost. Certainly not in one conversation. But, I never forget the things someone said to me once that itched, until my perspective changed. I also never forgot 2020, and the Black community telling me to talk to my people, and warning me that I would get exhausted and want to give it up, and warning me that they were going to start targeting other marginalized people, one after another, until they gained power if we gave up.
