I thought it would be fun to redo my avatar and make it more apparent it's inspired by a skull and crossbones, but I'm stuck having fun working with tiny details that I will have to erase to clarify it when I shrink it, yet I persist. I keep thinking I should clean up all the clunky lines and make it something more refined, so it looks nice larger, yet I can't. All those clunky pixels are making me happy. I bet if this was the 70s I'd totally be into the painting on velvet craze.
