The other day I read something that cheered me. A teacher said our modern environment means the teens are growing up with BS detectors, and will tune you out at the slightest hint of insincerity. I had a golddigger mom who listened to Zig Ziglar and Dale Carnegie constantly, and fell for every pyramid scheme in the 80s. I have a BS meter as a result, but I often can't tell you exactly what it was that I saw. I've often wished more people had it, and it's nice that we seem to be adapting.
