So, last night I typed on here that I was looking for a mantis to bring inside this fall hoping they would lay an ootheca, and I stood up, stretched, and my kid ran inside saying she found a mantis, and it's female. Finished building her habitat today, what's a good name that means luck?

@tippitiwichet you could go Greek,

Demeter, Goddess of agriculture and the growth of food plants

Persephone, Goddess of agriculture, spring growth, and rebirth

Follow

@KGinKS *Gasp* Persephone... a huntress named after the bride of Death, she comes in for winter rather than a journey underground... I had to convince the six year old as I typed this, there was negotiation, singing, and then she said I was acting like a child and I thanked her so she smacked my arm lightly, but yeah, I talked her into it :D
