What’s the best way you’ve found to reliably (and legally) make money outside of working for someone else, without having a budget?
@tiaugn What are you good at? Locksmiths make great money, the certification takes a little while though. If you can cook its possible to start a cater biz without much money. That's my gig. Some people do well selling niche items online but i don't know how to get that going.
@JLong I have a rather specific set of mostly useless skills lol - you offer some good suggestions tho; I’m going to look into those.
All seriousness, I’m a decent computer tech,
@tiaugn Happy to help anytime, friend. Hope you're doing ok. Tech skill is a good card to have in your deck. I'm terrible with computers but still certified on a few different medical lasers. In fact, maybe look into healthcare. MRI tech's, for example make alot of dough.
@JLong that’s a great idea..
@tiaugn @JLong There's a retired veteran in my neighborhood who is a computer whiz. Actually, all things electronic like PlayStations, etc., as well. He charges $65 per hour & from the looks of testimonials on his be website, is doing great business. He started with word of mouth & social media... no real advertising overhead. One thing about him is, he does some "goodwill" stuff; I called about bringing a PS4 to him & he gave me a fix I could do myself, at home.
@tiaugn I haven't. Unless "have access to lots of capital" counts.
@AskTheDevil it doesn’t, but maybe you and I can make a deal 😉
@tiaugn Remodeling...but you need skill, tools, and fees to cover licenses, permits, etc
