Last chance to watch: 𝙍𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙚𝙢 - 2020 Festival Verdi Parma
Verdi’s Requiem is one of the most dramatic, and undoubtedly the most operatic, of its type ever composed. Roberto Abbado conducts this performance from the 2020 Festival Verdi Parma with Filarmonica Arturo Toscanini and Chorus of Teatro Regio di Parma with soloists, Eleonora Buratto (soprano), Anita Rachvelishvili (mezzo-soprano), Giorgio Berrugi (tenor) and Roberto Tagliavini (bass).
Leaves YT on the 23rd.
@voltronic That must have been incredible. I never heard the entire thing until I was in college and I was really taken in by it so much. I always try to see any performances I can. This one was really great. If you get a chance to check it out before it's gone I think you will love it ❤️

I remember the Dies Irae and Tuba Mirum movements are still the loudest part of any performance I've ever participated in, by far. I was standing right behind the percussion and brass.
Thank you for posting; I will definitely check it out. I'm not familiar with any of the performers.
@voltronic ❤️ ❤️

A phenomenal piece. I got to perform it in college as part of the choir.
