The House passed legislation Saturday that would ban TikTok in the United States if the popular social media platform’s China-based owner doesn’t sell its stake within a year, but don’t expect the app to go away anytime soon.

@thewebrecluse I can promise you that Tik Tok isn't going anywhere. You have no idea how much money they've invested in infrastructure in the US in the past year. It's up there in Google and Amazon territory.

WSJ and NYTimes covered the financial end but 5 days ago he started talking about looking to work with AI to rebuild the algorithms. Not gonna lie kind of terrified by this.
