: Loads of people shit on Apple, and in a lot of ways, I can’t blame them. That said, like other companies and individual people, a lot of folks just pile on because people just like to pile on. I quite like Apple and I’ve been a customer since 1989, though then it was only professional, at the newspaper and the magazine. I have been an Apple customer regularly since 2012. My lateliest experience with them has been pretty darn good.

I got a new HomePod a few weeks ago, and for…

: …mysterious reasons, it has been giving lots of problems. Tech support and I have tried a variety of different things, and today they said, “Fuck it!” So I’m sending the little HomePod back, and they are sending me via overnight the giant HonePod, not the HomePod Mini like I had before. And they’re providing me a three-year AppleCare warranty for free, all to make up for, as the Tier-3 said, “this unexpected fiasco with your HomePod Mini”.

I still don’t think much of Tim Cook, though.
