@MrGoat: Negative. It is inanimate and therefore intellgenceless. Nor does it have intuition. It, of course, cannot speak either, which actually makes it doubly dumb.

@Agatha: No idea. We'ven't had anywhere near enough rain for their to be any kind of leaking.
Alas, I've run across two more structurals, however minor, that require repair. By "minor" I mean probably costing in the ballpark of $4,000 to $6,000 to repair properly and by a license, bonded, and insured Actual Company and not handymen or a fella people know who does some work.
I know that feeling. Every time we whack one mole, another pops up...
