The Boomers were often civil rights leaders but largely a generation after a lot of the heavy lifting was done by people born before the end of WW2.

As a generation, they're splintered worse than a jammed door at Chuck Norris' house because before they can even discuss things, they have to go through the various checklists to determine who's the most oppressed, the most poor, the most traumatized, who has privilege, who has more of a right to speak on certain topics, who has to STFU and just do what the others tell them, etc. *Then* they can go after the Not-We.
