@thedisasterautist Oh the many times I've asked questions to be thorough and even to convey in being mindful about a situation important to someone else, to them find out I came off as being harsh and unfair instead of thoughtful.

@Fellixe: It's either that or they feel/believe you were trying to make them look stupid, and often that's because you're asking questions they didn't consider, asking questions they never imagined about things they never imagined, and not infrequently showing them that despite their enthusiasm and confidence they were more smoke than sizzle.
