Between Marxism and its various spin-offs and "Liberation Theology" over the past one hundred or so years, perceived underdogs are uncritically supported. That's not even going into the planetarily centuries-long hatred or at least bias against Jews.

Many in the press and around the world, especially in the West, hate the West for "ruining the world".
