DAYUM my boy reacts fast: we were on the bed enjoying our morning snuggles, I was holding his paw while he drifted off to sleep and a tiny quiet bark was heard way out in the distance, very faint. Before that dog was done barking my boy had sprung up and dived off the bed to run to the RV cab (largest window) to investigate. I only realized what was going on because my girl raised her head and her ears stood to attention. My boy got caffeinated Chihuahua reaction time 😂

What RV do you live in?
@gshevlin Jayco Seneca super C. It's just under 40 feet long but he covered that in the blink of an eye 😂

@gshevlin Yeah we lucked out. Granted, there were all sorts of wrong with it when we first got it ( which is why we could afford it, lol) but my better half did a ton of work on it. Now we have enough solar power to cook 3 meals and use most appliances during the day, he remodeled the inside to accommodate the dogs, made it super energy efficient, it's nice to live in.
@Liliki How old is it.
@gshevlin this one is a 2022, Seneca 37K (that's the floorplan) we got it in summer 2021. I do not recommend Bish RV, BTW, they suck and lie about everything.
@Liliki The RV industry is in crisis, because build quality is terrible, and RV dealers either have to fix the quality issues themselves before sale, or sell RVs with loads of quality issues.
We are looking at RV life in the future, but we will probably buy an older RV and have it modernized. Let somebody else knock the bugs out of it.
@Liliki @t_heislen One of the recurrent themes that I read on all the RV forums is "you have to know how to do repairs because something is going to break".
@t_heislen @gshevlin That's what my better half wants to do though he's already very knowledgeable because he's a retired contractor and has worked for 3 years on ours.
