*FINALLY* able to take my Humira today, after over a month of respiratory symptoms (resp. virus, then bronchitis, then COVID exposure). Ppl don't realize how fucking hard it is to be immunocompromised in this "let it rip" era 😟💔
@katieevelynxo. I understand. I have RA & holding on to severe chest congestion from flu 4 weeks ago. On antibiotics & prednisolone right now. Can't take my Plaquinil.. Even some Dr's don't get the catch-22..
@suedanim Ah, wow 😔 sorry to hear you're still struggling with chest congestion. I've heard the flu is brutal this year. And yes- I've had to explain to multiple docs who don't get why my Humira was paused. Like... hello? It's a clear warning to stop when you have any respiratory symptoms. At least my rheumatologist gets it 🙃 hope you're feeling better soon 💞🫂
