I am committed to doing what I can, where I am.

I think that a lot of people are with me, making where they live a better place.
I also think that if we look at a local scale rather than a global one, the graph is already very different.

On the small, local scale I see people from all kinds of cultures and traditions doing incredible things for the betterment of their communities; lifting up the downtrodden and bringing real positive change.

As usual, the people doing the *real* work aren't politicians or celebrities or the wealthy. It's being done by ordinary, otherwise unremarkable people just loving their neighbours and making a difference every day.
