@stueytheround The hardwood desperately needs refinishing, but yes - this is what's under most of the carpeting in my house.
I've put off removing the carpet because it was brand new when we moved in (2019), but this room was so beat up by foster cats I had no choice.
Now I want to tear up the rest, but then I'll want to refinish all the floors, and I really need to wait till the school year ends....
