Just realized I haven't done the "Hokey Pokey" in over 10 years. I guess when you get older, you just forget what it's all about.

I always find it interesting how it's the Hokey Pokey in the US but the Hokey Cokey here in the UK.
Pretty sure the song was written in the US.

@stueytheround According to Wikipedia, it originated as a British folk dance, with variants attested as early as 1826. The song and accompanying dance peaked in popularity as a music hall song and novelty dance in the mid-1940s in the UK.
