I went to a Church of England primary school in Oxfordshire. We'd sing it there.
We'd also sing Neil Diamond's "What a Beautiful Noise" and Pete Seger's "Last Night I had the Strangest Dream".
Pretty progressive stuff!

@stueytheround Oh wow - I know @FrankCannon and I mentioned how we'd single Beatles & pop songs in our school assemblies, but had no idea it might have been a country-wide thing. That's wild!

A bit different from our secondary school where we'd get detention if we didn't have our hymn books in our bags at all times!
