Modern Christianity doesn't spend nearly enough time on the harrowing of hell for my taste.

@danialexis exactly! The idea that the New Testament is somehow so much better than the Old Testament is so odd. There wasn't the concept of an eternity burning in fire for not believing in someone until the New Testament.
@danialexis to say nothing of the three decades after Christ's death before the 1st gospel was written. During that period stories passed orally from person to person in a 30 year game of telephone!
