While I'd love to think that the recent climate change related tornados, fires, floods, and heat domes would challenge the remaining climate deniers, I suspect they might just pivot to being climate doomers who'll say it's too late to change.
Anything that absolves them of the need to change.
Unfortunately, many belong to a variant of Christianity that is in favor of anything that hastens the destruction of the Earth, as they feel God will spirit them out of the situation, so only "certain types of people" will be suffering.
