@artemis 😂 I love this!
yes, she's finally resting, after years and years of crowds with their non-freaking-stop cameras 🤣
@artemis Right? 🤣 😂
I never understood why folks take pics like this.
A pic of something that's in any art album, and anywhere on the web.

I have taken pictures in art galleries, but only the offbeat / quirky / cool stuff I want to show other people that you can't see elsewhere.

One of my real pet peeves is when people have their phones out at concerts. Small camera sensor, low quality mic. Your video is going to look and sound terrible. Watch and listen to the concert, not a tiny screen.
@voltronic @artemis @99reasons4truth And they're almost always dancing and moving while videoing. What's that video going to look like? Shit. They'll watch 30 seconds of it and delete it because it's unwatchable. Meanwhile, I've had to duck and dodge their ass for the past 3 minutes just to see the goddamned concert.
Right.
Well, let's think of peaceful ways to deter such silly acts.
For e.g. have a water or confetti pistol directed at their camera, LOL

I was at a comedy show last year that was being filmed for TV. They enforced a very strict no-phones policy during the show. Despite the repeated warnings, I saw lots of people get ejected.
@voltronic @artemis @99reasons4truth And yet I was at a carnival (Paranormal Circus) a while back. People seemed to respect the moment. I didn't see anyone booted, although I expect there were a few. I never saw a flash though. At. A. Fucking. Carnival, people were better behaved than almost anywhere I've been to in recent memory.
@artemis @voltronic @99reasons4truth It was an odd but very welcome experience. The carnival was top notch, btw. I'm not a fan of carnivals, but this one was amazing. (No animals.)
