Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) managed to issue a statement on Sunday afternoon without naming Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, or Donald Trump.
McConnell served in the Senate with Biden for decades. On the occasion of Biden’s decision to step aside from the presidential race, McConnell remained in true form: he spared not a kind word, saying that the country “cannot afford four more years of failure.”
