@tgraph52 yes, I run across a lot of short from... trying to be way to energetic influencer types that really turn me off. They seem more down to earth. Focused on the nuts and bolts of songwriting. There's nothing new under the sun. But a message you need to hear again from someone is a lot easier when you hear it from someone you don't mind listening to.
I poked around for about an hour until I came across this channel. And yes... most of the others were talking a lot of useless nonsense, I thought.

I found a YouTube channel that talks about songwriting.. The little bit I saw didn't seem overly stupid. They offer some writing groups, with prompts and deadlines, etc. I'm hoping it gives me a good push.
