@GeezerWench It was a giant pain in the keister to get mine. I can't imagine the horrors of trying to do it as a transgender person if that's how you were treated for a last name change.
@sfleetucker Not because of that. I didn't take my marriage license! IT WASN'T ON THE LIST!
I took his last name when we got married (like a million years ago).
I was so damn mad that day. If they'd had that on the list of documents to bring, I would have taken it.
I can't imagine the crap transgender people go through for a name change and getting updated Social Security, License and all that stuff.
