Lets face it Mexico is a mess- and we dont want that mess coming across the border.
But fortunately Mexico has no nukes, has no geopolitical swing like Russia and China have and are literally overrun with corruption.
We have our military bases and air bases stationed strategically across the US.
Theres a reason for that in case Mexico ever did decide to get funky.
Furthermore how is a wall going to stop the flow of drugs coming in which is through brides and corruption AT the border eh ? OR through our military eh? OR through our police forces?
Am i asking too many tough questions yet?

That’s the thorn. Applying. All too often they don’t have all the info on how to apply. Plus, it’s fucking expensive and takes years upon years to get citizenship.
I agree 100%. But I’ve heard and read enough horror stories of refugees coming across the border just south of me to know that they aren’t always allowed to claim asylum.
And their cases need to stop taking years.

I know i did it for my wife - she is American- i paid for all of it.
Then you know what i did ?
I did it again 6 years later when our daughter died and we adopted her kids as our own.
Also American
All three now have Canadian citizenship too.
Paid for that too.
However i did it all with a stable society of my fellow Canucks which i will forever be grateful for.
And i will defend it.

They can cross the border and claim asylum. Then they should be allowed to live here until their claims are adjudicated.
Considering that Central America is a drug war zone, they have every reason to claim asylum.
