A great uncle, two horses, my grandfather, his sister. I have no idea why they're all dressed up and posing with horses. Guessing this is in the 1920s. Grandpa died in 1933, so that sets a firm limit. #CoSoPhotography #Genealogy
What a great part of your past! I have a few photos of my dad’s childhood and some relatives but I don’t know who these people are.
@see_the_sus That's a shame. I have a lot of pictures on Mom's side of the family (like this one) and very few on Dad's side because they all burned up in a 1940 fire.
Ugh. I’m always in fear of losing my photos in a fire. I’ve only scanned maybe a 1/4 of my negatives & slides.
I have a lot of photos of my mom in the Army & as my mom but …geesh, the only ones of her as a youth, high school, I think she has. I have no childhood images and I don’t think she does either.
I need to ask my uncles if they have any. I have just one aunt left. Well, out of the 5 one is dead and two are gone to dementia.
