I had PT last year and the conclusion was that it ain't doing shit any longer to alleviate the pain in my spine. But because it's over 6 months ago...oh yeah, let's just ignore the patients med history, insurance requires I do it all over again. 🤬
She got me scheduled for PT, though the soonest is early Feb and the MRI will be mid-Jan.
Thankful that the ball is at least out of the starting gate.
I appreciate your reply no matter whether you did have any advice.
What angers me, and has off and on over the years, is that I'm pretty certain if I was a millionaire or billionaire, I wouldn't be going thru these hoops.
I'm currently on Medicaid, but even when I was working and had employer insurance, the BS was still there.
People get berated for "not taking care of yerself and being a burden on society" but when we try to, these are the obstacles we run into.
@see_the_sus insurance in this country is set up to gatekeep resources. While simultaneously extracting as much profit as possible from the very people they’re paid to take “care of”. It’s barbaric madness. We’ve monetized every stage of life from womb to grave. All while swearing (usually w/ fingers crossed and an oily smile) how concerned about life we are 😒 I’ve been fighting my own fight since 1/20 w/ private insurance and drs who don’t listen. It’s madness.
@see_the_sus it is incredibly frustrating to have to fight so hard to be heard and seen as a patient. I wish I had anything helpful to say.
