I think I have figured out some of the why of my insomnia. I'm procrastinating brushing my teeth at night. If I just were to brush my teeth and get it over with then I go to sleep earlier. Not 100% obviously because I'm still wide awake right now. But if I stay awake until I'm falling asleep I can convince myself to just go to bed without brushing my teeth as thoroughly as I usually do. Which doesn't happen often because I love my teeth.
