Has anyone ever tried to find out if polar bears will chase after a laser pointer?

I mean, obviously if a bear has chosen something as prey it won't be distracted by a tiny dot. But if it's just being curious and you want it to go away...maybe? It would be easy to test this...from a helicopter. LOL
