I've awaken (awoke?) the last few mornings with a super sore throat. I'm guessing it's a combo of having a stuffy nose, probably mouth breathing in my sleep without knowing it, and my bad luck. It's not pleasant.
@MidnightRider We just turned it on last night, but this has been previously to that. Only problem is my bedroom has the outlets spaced in such a way that the vaporizer would either be across the room or directly next to me where I'm likely to trip on it if I get up in the middle of the night. Lots of trial and error with them has been done. π
@sarcasmsign You left out the most important data point, did the vaporizers help? If they did then integrating them into the environment is the easy part of the solution.
@MidnightRider ehhh I really didn't notice a huge difference. π€·ββοΈ
yes, happens to me frequently in winter. a vaporizer does help.
mouth breathing, yup. i keep water by my bedside and i use biotene for dry mouth.
not fun. i'm trying to train myself not to mouth breath, keeping nasal airway open by using a neck support pillow.

@sarcasmsign You running the heat yet? Buy a cheap vaporizer you'll sleep way better in the winter.
