It's still more tedious than it should be (we need a real data privacy law in the US) but the app does make it considerably easier to opt-out of online data tracking.
@rpardee I've seen so many religion/prayer apps asking for absolutely insane permissions. I don't know if it's because those apps tend to be pretty easy to develop and thus attractive to inexperienced developers who don't know any better... or if they're made by data harvesters deliberately preying (heh?) upon users who may be predisposed to trusting in a privacy policy they can't see... but it's definitely a worrying pattern.
