trying to figure out how to share files from my linux desktop to the windows users on my home network. Need to find smb.conf apparently...
@corlin Ah, thanks for the rec. That looks a little too heavyweight for my needs. Really I'd like to make it totally seamless to my DW whether I'm booted into linux or windows--would like the files accessible from the same UNCs
Ok I understand.
Yet here is the deal. I set this up running on a Raspberry Pi 4, and some portable USB SSD's, cheap. Once set up. You will find hundreds of uses.
