Trump might want to reconsider nominating Vance as his running mate. Vance's racism, misogyny, and universal intolerance make him another Trump, but much smarter. Trump's overlords might prefer to swap him out.

Narcissists like can be very forgiving of critics, because they don't believe they were ever sincere in their criticisms -- just envious. And they aren't capable of being suspicious of insincere compliments or sycophants, because they consider it the only reasonable way for other people to behave.
