#cancer follow-up surveillance visit done.
This follow-up hasn't revealed anything evil and everything looked good, which is awesome. But because I have been having cramp-like pains, I need an imaging study. CT w contrast in a week, then seeing my oncologist again on Dec 12 to discuss results and strategies. Fuck. My. Life.

I am only allergic to the dye they use for imaging the back of the eye - it makes me pass out. CT contrast is fine.
I faint from the contrast dye. Medicine can be tricky.

Thank you ✨ It really could be something harmless like adhesions or unrelated like diverticulitis. But the type of cancer I am supposed to be in remission from, recurs the most in the first two years after treatment. I finished treatment at the end of January. It is a time for vigilance now and I have a good doc.
